Soda... It's slowly destroying our bodies

This time last year I was an addict.  No I wasn't a drug addict, although I guess you could compare it to that kind of an addiction.  No I was TOTALLY addicted to sodas.  Coca Cola to be specific.  I had to make my daily Sonic run to get my Coke.  Many days it was one of the first things I did in the morning, especially if I was subbing.  It just helped me get through my day.  Some days I would get a second one in the afternoon.  The thought of all the sugar I was putting into my body daily makes me cringe.  But the knowledge of what the Cokes were doing to my body is even scarier.

One of the things I noticed after I started Plexus was that I didn't crave or want my daily Coca Cola... at all!   I craved water, like all the time.  And the even crazier thing was I didn't get a headache, or feel sick, or get grouchy.  On the contrary... I felt AWESOME!   It's been months and months since I've had a soda.   Well I did have a sip of one at the movies just to see if I could handle it and I couldn't stand it.  It was disgusting!  Needless to say, my sugar tolerance level has greatly changed, and I couldn't be happier.

So what do sodas do to your body?



Drinking diet sodas aren't better for you simply because they are "diet".  In fact, they are actually worse.  


Empty calories, tons of sugar, and super bad for you... NO THANK YOU!  So what's the alternative? Well water of course, and a little pink drink I've become quite a fan of.
